  • Account information: Email address and authentication credentials when you create an account.
  • Usage data: API request metadata including timestamps, token counts, and provider selection. We do not store the content of your embedding requests.
  • Payment information: Billing details are processed and stored securely by Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the EmbedRoute service.
  • Process payments and manage your account balance.
  • Monitor usage for billing, rate limiting, and abuse prevention.
  • Send important service updates (you can opt out of marketing emails).

3. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Usage logs are retained for 90 days for billing and debugging purposes. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

  • Embedding providers (OpenAI, Voyage, Cohere, Mistral): Your input text is sent to the selected provider to generate embeddings. Each provider's own privacy policy applies to their processing.
  • Stripe: For payment processing.
  • Supabase: For authentication and database services.

5. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS), hashed API keys, and role-based access controls. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data.
  • Correct inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your data.
  • Export your usage data.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party tracking cookies.
